A section of the Don Bosco Educational Projects that was started in 2000 to respond to the need to give children who are out-of-school and marginalised an opportunity to be educated. Today, the Laura Vicuna Primary School is registered with the South African ministry of Education and is able to accept students who otherwise wouldn’t be able to attend a government school. Often these children are migrants, refugees or orphans who don’t have the necessary documentation to be able to attend a government school. By giving these children access to a good education, we will help them to change their own future.
